you must fight

How to Join the Spiritual War

June 05, 20253 min read

Dear reader,

Are you aware of the forces of evil that attack you daily?

Do you understand the anger of the ones who are damned and are out for blood?

Can you see how evil beings can and do affect us every day?

This topic is something I’ve been wrestling with for the past 8 months. Some days have been swell, others have felt like digging a hole and crying in it seems like the best option.

Our lives are constantly under attack, and even if you refuse to believe that it will continue to be the case. If you look through scripture you can see very clearly that Satan was placed by God as the ruler of this world, he is the father of lies and deceit and he rules in such a manner, and we truly have him as our enemy.

It is not a fight to be taken lightly.

I’ve written about this before, but I seem to let my guard down on the weekends. I take my eyes off of the work at hand, and responsibilities I can neglect I do, and I put forth minimal effort into my life for 2 days.

I don’t know about you. But if I had evil intentions and orders to terrorize and torment the sons and daughters of God I’d wait until they were at their weakest moments.

When they let their guard down and forget to arm themselves with the Armor and the Weapons of their warfare.

That’s when I would strike. And I have to believe that the enemy is craftier than I am.

DEMONS DON'T TAKE DAYS OFF.

The War for the Kingdom of Heaven will not stop until Jesus returns. Yet it is already won, and we have a hard time applying that to our thoughts and lifestyle as we live.

I am in an avid struggle with pride, lust, and fear. All of which I know Jesus’ blood washes me clean of. So why would I choose to partake in such activities?

Whenever I let my guard down and stop believing the gospel of grace, then I can sin quite easily.

Whenever I stop the daily intake of meditating and studying the Word of God I can and will fill my time and brain power with something else.

I can’t pretend I know how demons operate. I see examples in scripture of them tormenting, bringing diseases and infirmities, and especially afflicting the minds and the body of the Church.

God’s bride is under attack daily, and it truly seems like we pretend like it doesn’t happen.

Why is that?

Is it truly to our benefit to ignore Satan’s grip on our lives? Or is it better to face it head-on and allow the Truth of the Gospel and the Power of the Spirit to demolish each and every demonic force that stands in our way?

I stand on the side that is victorious.

My king and leader went to hell and has taught me to not be afraid of it.

I urge you my friend to choose today whom you will serve.

Will you roll over for Evil?

Or stand and fight for Good?

Those are the only two options.

Choose well.

Sincerely,

Your Demon Slayer in Training
